Application

How long does it take for an application to be approved?

If you have uploaded all the documentation and had your chat with one of the admissions team it takes less than a week for your application to be approved, pending availability.

I'm not 18 yet. Can I still apply to stay in college?

Yes, students can request to room with a specific person when filling out the accommodation application. If no request is made, we will assign roommates based on gender, age, and lifestyle preferences to ensure compatibility.

Do you offer postgraduate accommodation

The College offers accommodation for primarily undergraduate students. However, if you are under the age of 25 and are a postgraduate student, please send an enquiry to our admissions team – admissions@dlc.nsw.edu.au

What if I need to cancel my application?

If you cancel your application before the cut-off date (February 1 for Semester 1 arrivals) you are refunded what you have paid, minus $150.

If you cancel in February (for Semester 1 arrivals) but before move-in day, you are refunded what you have paid less $450.  If you cancel on or after move-in day, this is considered breaking your contract.

If you cancel because you did not receive an offer to study from Macquarie University, you will receive a full refund.
